Play Review: Cocktails For 200

This cocktail lacks punch
EDMONTON -- Cocktails for Two Hundred is a tribute to two of the hardest working performers in Edmonton. For nearly two hours, Joseph Chambrinho and Chantal Perron try to breathe life into material as lifeless as last year's Lloyd-Webber mega-musical. The fact that occasional moments sparkle and that a song or two excites is a recognition of the ability of theatre, and this company, to raise the dead.

We are told that Cocktails for Two Hundred was first performed in a pub during the Charlottetown festival and there seems little reason why it shouldn't have ended its life there as well.
