Play Review: Family Circus Maximus
 Maximus humour with minimal depth
TORONTO -- Somebody was facetiously whining to me just before the opening night of Family Circus Maximus, Second City's 50th Toronto revue, that they seem to have a lot of anniversaries.
And indeed, there was the 40th anniversary of the whole Second City phenomenon a while back, and the 25th anniversary of the Toronto franchise. And if you only start counting (as the accountants do) from the time Andrew Alexander took over and got a liquor licence, the 50th is still two revues away.
