Play Review: I Love You Youre Perfect

Theatre is as good as it gets
EDMONTON -- There is no reason I Love You, You're Perfect, Now Change! should work as wonderfully as it does.

It's the battle of the sexes - one more time. But wait! This is a show with a consistently clever hook and lyrics by Joe DiPietro. The songs by Jimmy Roberts will never be mistaken for anything by Steven Sondheim but are so accessible you'll swear you've heard them before. The two have come up with a light but irrepressible romp. It's been running off-Broadway to wildly positive reviews since 1996 - and this production shows why.
