Play Review: Kids In The Hall

Kids will be Kids
TORONTO -- Maybe God finally had enough of the Dr. Seuss Crucifixion sketch, or maybe He likes April Fool's jokes as much as the next deity. But on Easter Monday, the Kids In The Hall came home to a veritable Biblical plague of technical gaffes.

Jesus (Scott Thompson) lost his crown of thorns, the stagehands found themselves incapable of pulling the canoe that carried two voyageurs and gay lounge lizard Buddy Cole (Thompson). Voyageur Dave Foley lost his moustache "down river." The sound guys missed their cues in the bit where teenage Rusty (Bruce McCulloch, the Kids' designated sexual predator) came on to his mom's aged friend Mrs. Wilson (Thompson).
