Play Review: Lowest Show On Earth

On the offensive
TORONTO -- About 10 minutes into The Lowest Show On Earth, two things become obvious. The first is that, barring a six-month rehearsal period with a director skilled in the use of tranquilizer darts, comedian Scott Thompson is never going to be an actor, at least not in any refined sense of the word.

The second thing is that Thompson is such a hugely skilled and committed performer that the first doesn't really matter.
