Play Review: Outlying Islands
Solid presence
TORONTO -- In Outlying Islands, playwright David Greig suspends us at the very edge of several worlds.
Most obviously, there's the edge of Scotland, specifically one of the islands of the title, the one on which the play is set -- a tiny windswept block of stone and turf that, thanks to the artistry of designer Fiona Watt, fits the stage of the du Maurier Theatre Centre perfectly.
