Play Review: Reefer Madness
Goofy weed flowers
TORONTO -- What's interesting about Reefer Madness -- the most counterproductive anti-drug film ever made -- is that it has finally spent more time in the public imagination as a comedy than as a drama.
When the original 1937 film first toured college campuses in the '60s, the kids may have been in on the joke, but there were still quite a few parents and churchmen who thought it was a serious documentary.
