Play Review: Tillonsburg
Working it out in Tillsonburg
One is left with a niggling hunch that Irish playwright Malachy McKenna just might have done more than merely kiss the fabled Blarney Stone.
In Tillsonburg, McKenna's first play, which had its North American premiere last night at CanStage's Berkeley Street Theatre, the young Irish playwright proves that the celebrated Irish wit -- that gift of the gab that first blossomed in fellow playwrights and countrymen Oscar Wilde and Bernard Shaw -- is still alive.
