Love story missing spark
TORONTO - When it comes to romance, they were hot and heavy back when the Montagues and the Capulets were still on speaking terms.

And even though it was Romeo and Juliet -- and not Tristan and Isolde -- that Shakespeare chose as the focus for his foray into tragic love, Tristan and Isolde have not exactly faded to black in over a thousand years. They've remained in the romantic vanguard, thanks to bards of other stripes who have kept their story alive.
